School of Law Professor Suzanne Reynolds has been named to a three-year term as the school’s Executive Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

Cancer patients with children have the added pressure of worrying about their children, said Dr. Kathryn Weaver of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, author of a new study on how cancer affects parents and their children.

Eleven students and two professors are in Managua, Nicaragua, for a month for a service-learning experience combining health care, communication and service. With communication professor Steven Giles and health and exercise science professor Gary Miller, the students are studying global health issues and using a variety of communication techniques to promote healthier lifestyles among the local people.
