The Schools of Business full-time MBA program is once again ranked among the Top 50 Business Schools in the U.S. by Poets&Quants. Wake Forest broke into the top 40 this year by climbing up three positions to No. 38.
For the ninth time, Schools of Business students achieved the top pass rate in the nation on the Certified Public Accountant Exam among candidates with and without advanced degrees from nearly 2,000 colleges and universities.
Students in the Schools of Business met last week with the U.S. Ambassador to Austria, William Eacho. The students are studying abroad, taking two business classes, as well as history, art, and German. They reside in the Flow House, an elegant home owned by Wake Forest.
The Wake Forest Ethics Team qualified for the National Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl following the eighth annual Southeast Regional Ethics Bowl competition on Nov. 12 in Clearwater, Fla. This was the first competition for the team.
The Schools of Business continues to climb in The Economist 2011 ranking of full-time MBA programs, ranking 29th in the nation and 48th worldwide.
The Schools of Business recently welcomed GE's Jeff Immelt, who has been named one of the "World's Best CEOs" by Barron's three times. Immelt stressed to students that they must prepare to compete in a volatile, global economy. “You are going to graduate into a world that requires adaptability. It rewards people who know how to manage volatility.”
The Schools of Business announced the unveiling of its new Center for Value Delivery Innovation, a first-of-its-kind retail marketing collaboration, at the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) Executive Conference in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Aug. 20.
