Joplin and Dvorak on Program for WFU Chamber Concert

Student chamber ensembles from Wake Forest University will perform at 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, in Brendle Recital Hall.

The concert will feature a brass quintet performing music by Paul Dukas and Victor Ewald and a trio of guitars playing Scott Joplin’s “Maple Leaf Rag.” Dvorak’s “Quintet for Strings and Piano in A Major, Op.81” will conclude the concert.

The ensembles are led by David Hagy, who is also the music director of the Salisbury Symphony and the assistant conductor for the Greensboro Symphony.
