Pat McGee Band concert highlights student union events during orientation week

Acoustic favorite Pat McGee Band will perform a free, private concert for Wake Forest University students, faculty and staff on Aug. 24 at 9:30 p.m. The show, sponsored in part by the Wake Forest Student Union, will be on Davis Field.

The Student Union is also sponsoring a comedian on Aug. 23 at 9:30 p.m. in Wait Chapel. Taylor Mason, who performs across the United States and Canada, is a comedian, ventriloquist and musician. The event is free to students, faculty and staff.

Jive-n-Java returns to Shorty’s on Sept. 3 featuring Jennifer Daniels. Daniels, a singer/songwriter from Lookout Mountain, Tenn., is an alternative/folk artist. The show begins at 7 p.m.
