Pianist Peter Kairoff, professor of music at Wake Forest University, will present a recital Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. in Brendle Recital Hall at Scales Fine Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public.
The program will feature the music of Beethoven, Rachmaninov and lesser-known American composers of the 19th century. Kairoff will play the same program at other U.S. venues and in Rome in the weeks following his Wake Forest performance.
Kairoff has performed throughout the United States and Europe in his 15 years at Wake Forest as well as recorded a number of albums.
