Media invited to WFU convocation with former Senator, NBA star Bill Bradley
Members of the media are invited to attend Wake Forest University’s Founders’ Day Convocation, featuring former U.S. senator, best-selling author and Basketball Hall of Fame member Bill Bradley on Feb 27 at 11 a.m. in Wait Chapel.
Bradley will hold a brief press conference prior to the convocation ceremony at 10:15 a.m. in Reynolda Hall, Room 208. Media are encouraged to arrive by 10 a.m. and enter Reynolda Hall off of University Plaza (the Quad). News Service staff will direct media to the press conference from this area.
During the convocation ceremony, reporters may sit in the front right row of the chapel; however, audio recording will not be permitted during Bradley’s speech. Video recording will be allowed for b-roll purposes only. Television cameras may set up along the balcony stairs on either side of the stage.
Media parking and shuttles will be available in the parking lot across from First Assembly of God Church at the corner of Polo Road and Long Drive, near the university. Marked media vehicles may park along the sidewalk in Lot N, between Poteat and Huffman residence halls.
