Colin L. Powell sound bites available from WFU commencement address

Broadcast-quality sound clips from U.S. Secretary of State Colin L. Powell’s May 17 commencement address at Wake Forest University will be available for radio stations to download and broadcast that afternoon. The ceremony begins at 9 a.m.

The Wake Forest News Service will post several sound clips from Powell’s speech on the News Service Web site, www.wfu.edu/wfunews. The clips will be in .wav format and will be available by noon.

Powell is scheduled to address approximately 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students and receive an honorary doctor of laws degree during the 9 a.m. outdoor ceremony on Wake Forest’s University Plaza (the Quad).
