WFU Hosts Debate on Energy Policy

Christopher Flavin with Worldwatch Institute in Washington, D.C., and Ned Leonard of the Western Fuels Association in Virginia will debate whether the federal government should establish a policy to increase the use of renewable energy.

The free event will begin at 7 p.m. in the Worrell Professional Center, Room 1312.

The event is hosted by the Wake Forest University Debate Team, the Summer Debate Workshop and The Policy Project. The Summer Debate Workshop and The Policy Project are intensive summer programs at Wake Forest for outstanding high school debaters across the country. High school teams will debate renewable energy usage during the upcoming school year.
