Wake Forest Presents Bach Concert

Wake Forest University music students will present “The Music of Johann Sebastian Bach” at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, in Brendle Recital Hall on the Wake Forest campus.

The concert will feature instrumental and vocal ensembles as well as piano and violin solos. Highlights will include movements from Bach’s Cantata No. 21 and 29, “Domine Deus” from Mass in B minor, and “Sicilenne” for flute and harp.

The concert is part of the Student Artists Series, organized by members of the music student committee during the university’s 1996-97 “Year of the Arts” celebration. The recitals highlight the work of the department’s most talented student musicians.
