Program sponsors event on same-gender religious issues

Wake Forest University’s Women’s Studies Program will host an event on same-gender religious issues on Oct. 11.

The program, “Spirit and Flesh: Integrating Same-Gender Issues into Christian Worship and Teaching,” will begin at 7 p.m. in Benson University Center’s Pugh Auditorium.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature a panel discussion moderated by Ulrike Wiethaus, an associate professor of humanities.

The discussion is the first of a series of events sponsored by Women’s Studies under the theme, “Justice, Creativity & Same-Gender Religious Issues at Wake Forest.”
