Feb. 20
Military Guest Speaker Program hosts author and Retired Col. Roger H.C. Donlon, U.S. Army Special Forces. Theme-year event. Donlon, the first recipient of the Medal of Honor for Valor in the Vietnam War, is the author of “Beyond Nam Dong” and “Outpost Freedom.” He is now the executive director of The Westmoreland Scholar Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding understanding between the United States and Vietnam through academic scholarships and exchange programs for students. Donlon will hold an open discussion forum titled “Teamwork and the Vietnam War” in the Information Systems Building, Room 162 at 9:15 a.m. Free.
