WFU’s Graylyn Conference Center garners two prestigious industry awards

Graylyn International Conference Center of Wake Forest University has been awarded a 2004 Pinnacle Award and a 2004 Gold Key Award, two of the meeting and conference industry’s top awards.

For the eighth year, Graylyn received the Pinnacle Award from Successful Meetings magazine. The award, which is voted on by more than 71,000 meeting and convention planners, is presented to an entire staff that demonstrates an unwavering commitment to meetings service. The winners are officially announced in Successful Meetings’ Pinnacle Awards Registry each August.

Graylyn also received a fifth consecutive Gold Key Award from Meetings & Conventions magazine. The annual award is voted on by readers of the magazine, who make selections based on the overall professionalism and quality of the property.

“Graylyn’s continued success is due to the excellent efforts of our entire staff to meet and exceed the needs of our clients on a consistent basis,” said John Wise, general manager of Graylyn. “We are honored to receive these awards because they reflect our continued commitment to exceeding the expectations of our guests.”

Graylyn opened in 1984 and is a member of the International Association of Conference Centers.
