Michael Schur, the television writer and producer who created the show “The Good Place,” and co-created “Parks and Recreation,” will visit Wake Forest University Oct. 17.

On Thursday, Oct. 6, Wake Forest community members will “Hit the Bricks” to raise money for cancer research in honor of football star Brian Piccolo.The eight-hour relay race starts at 11 a.m. with an opening ceremony at 11 a.m. and concludes at 7 p.m. with a final lap in remembrance of cancer victims and in celebration of cancer survivors.
