Muuss named men’s head soccer coach

Former Demon Deacon assistant and current University of Denver head coach Bobby Muuss has been named the head men's soccer coach at Wake Forest University. "We're happy to welcome Bobby back to Wake Forest," said Athletics Director Ron Wellman.

WFU Field Hockey: 2014 ACC Champs

Wake Forest field hockey defeated Syracuse 2-0 to claim its fourth ACC Championship at Jack Katz Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The victory gives Wake Forest athletics its 47th all-time team ACC Championship.

Motor mouth: Dentist on wheels

Health and exercise science major Sara Creighton (’05) wanted to be a dentist since middle school. This summer, she sold her brick-and-mortar office to take her practice on the road in a custom-designed, souped-up trailer housing San Francisco's first mobile dental office.

McCreary gives $7.5 million to sports performance center

Ever since Bob McCreary (’61) came to Wake Forest in 1957 on a football scholarship, he has never forgotten the power of a transformative gift on a young student-athlete. Now his $7.5 million gift in support of the Wake Forest Football program adds momentum to Wake Forest’s plans for a 95,000-square-foot sports performance center.

$5 million kicks off Clawson era

Alumnus Alan Fox ('79, MBA '81, P '12) has donated $2 million in support of the Wake Forest Football Program. His gift brings the total amount raised for football to $5 million since the launch of the Wake Will campaign, demonstrating significant momentum for a new era in Wake Forest football under Coach Dave Clawson.

Clawson named head football coach

Dave Clawson Dave Clawson today was named as the 32nd head football coach in Wake Forest history. Clawson, the head coach at Bowling Green State for the past five seasons, led the Falcons to the 2013 Mid-American Conference championship on Friday with a 47-27 win over No. 16 Northern Illinois.

Wake Forest retires Paul’s jersey

Chris Paul is presented with his retired jersey. In recognition of his competitive excellence and considerable charity, Wake Forest retired the No. 3 jersey of NBA All-Star Chris Paul ('07) in a halftime ceremony during Saturday's home game against Maryland.

Paul returns home to give back

Chris Paul gives back to children at Toys R Us. Chris Paul (’07), a former Wake Forest basketball star who now plays for the L.A. Clippers, wasn’t dressed as Santa Claus, but for the children eagerly anticipating his arrival at Toys R Us in Winston-Salem last week, he was as welcome as the real thing.
