Orchestra to perform Prokofiev, Beethoven

Prokofiev’s “Excerpts from Romeo and Juliet Ballet” and Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 67” will highlight the Wake Forest University Orchestra concert at 8 p.m. Nov. 22.

Conducted by David Hagy, the orchestra will perform in Brendle Recital Hall. Hagy is also the music director of the Salisbury Symphony.

Gabriel FaurÈ’s “Pavane” will complete the program.

The program is open to the public. Admission is free. For more information, call 336-758-5026.
