Wake Forest to host grant workshop for area artists
In cooperation with the North Carolina Arts Council, Wake Forest University will host a Fellowship Application Workshop for Film, Video and Visual Artists at 6 p.m. on Oct. 3 in Scales Fine Arts Center, Room A102.
Led by N.C. Arts Council Visual Arts Director Jeff Pettus, a panel of former and current artist fellowship recipients will discuss topics related to applying for and receiving fellowship grants.
The panel will include Terri Dowell-Demis, a 2000-2001 Winston-Salem fellowship recipient (sculpture), Linda FitzSimons, a 2000-2001 Raleigh fellowship recipient (painting) and Cort Savage, a 1995 Davidson fellowship recipient (sculpture).
