More than 800 community children from nearly 25 local agencies arrived on campus Wednesday afternoon with costumes and matching smiles to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of Project Pumpkin. To recruit and retain outstanding faculty who embody Wake Forest’s teacher-scholar ideal, three alumni have committed $3 million to fund Presidential Chairs. Bobby Burchfield has established the Burchfield Presidential Chair of Political Economy and Mike and Debbie Rubin have established the Rubin Chair of Jewish and Israeli Studies.
