Tracy Clayton of BuzzFeed's Another Round will host a live show and recording full of laughs, special guest appearances and all manner of fun at Wake Forest University on Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. The event will be held at the Porter Byrum Welcome Center. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, but tickets are required. Tickets can be reserved online.

Wake Forest soon will break ground on the Sutton Sports Performance Center and the Basketball Player Development Center thanks to the continued generosity of Ben Sutton (’80, JD ’83, P ’14, P ’16, P ’19). The construction of these two buildings is a $50 million project — all of which has been pledged by athletic donors like Sutton.

In fall 2017, Wake Forest will send 18 to 20 first-year students to Copenhagen, Denmark, for a new, year-long study abroad program called Global AWAKEnings. The educational experience is a linchpin in the University’s push to help all students see the world through a global lens and better prepare them to lead in the 21st century.

Deciding to get a flu shot may seem simple, but communicating about it is not, new research suggests. Unfortunately, there’s no clear prescription for how health care providers and public policy officials can effectively encourage patients to hit the flu clinic. Filling the communication gap are patients’ personal beliefs and biases about the vaccine’s effectiveness and impact on their own health.
