WFU moves forward to name roads honoring trailblazing professors

Following approval by the Winston-Salem City Council this week, Wake Forest will move forward to name roads on the Reynolda Campus in honor of four trailblazing professors. Roads will be named for Elizabeth Phillips, Dolly McPherson, Marjorie “Marge” Crisp and Herman Eure. President Wente announced plans in July for the road names.

High schoolers LEAP into action at Wake Downtown

James Harris, a student at Carver High School, loves sports statistics and is considering a career in mechanical engineering. The 17-year-old is one of a dozen high school students from local Title I schools working in labs alongside Wake Forest scientists this summer.
