New degree meets translation needs

That demand is expected to increase because of new standards requiring interpreters for patients who speak limited English. To meet the demand, Wake Forest will begin offering a Master of Arts in Interpreting and Translation Studies.

Veterinary regenerative center formed

Anthony Atala The Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine has formed a veterinary regenerative center with the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Regenerative medicine is devoted to engineering replacement tissues and organs in the laboratory, or using cell therapies to restore organ and tissue function.
