Middle and high school students can discover opportunities for careers in statistics and data science during a free one-day event at Wake Forest University on April 22. Called Florence Nightingale Day, the event will take place April 22 from 1-4:30 p.m. in Manchester Hall. The goal of the program is to engage kids, promote future career opportunities, and celebrate the contributions of women to these fields.

Wake Forest University President Susan R. Wente has appointed Jacqueline Travisano, Ed.D., MBA, CPA, as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Identified in a highly competitive national search, Travisano will begin her new role at Wake Forest in July.
