Deciphering the tax code

David Shores, who earned his LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University, worked at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., and at Porter, Stanley, Treffinger & Platt (now Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur) in Columbus, Ohio, before joining the Wake Forest faculty in 1972. With April 15 still fresh in taxpayers’ minds, Professor of Law David Shores offers some thoughts on the tax system and the recent “tea parties” and some parting words for future students.
