WFU to toast the life and legacy of alumnus Arnold Palmer April 6

Arnold Palmer riding the motorcycle with the Demon Deacon Wake Forest University students, faculty and staff will toast alumnus and legendary golfer Arnold Palmer to coincide with the first day of the Masters Tournament. The student-run Traditions Council, men's and women's golf teams and other members of the campus community will enjoy signature “Arnold Palmer” drinks of iced tea and lemonade, honoring the alumnus who died Sept. 25.

Former Congresswoman Donna Edwards to speak at WFU

Donna Edwards Donna Edwards (’80), former Maryland congresswoman and Wake Forest graduate, will speak on Thursday, March 23, at 6 p.m. in Farrell Hall’s Broyhill Auditorium. The talk is part of Wake Forest University’s Leadership Project, a program designed to showcase inspiring stories from leaders who represent a variety of professional paths.
