Faces of Courage: Ed Reynolds

Ed Reynolds talks with fellow students in 1962. In September 1962, a Ghana native named Ed Reynolds ('64) became the first black full-time undergraduate to attend Wake Forest. Fifty years later, Reynolds comes come back to campus to mark the anniversary of the integration of Wake Forest as part of “Faces of Courage: Celebrating 50 Years of Integration."

Congress awards gold to Palmer

Arnold Palmer Wake Forest golf icon Arnold Palmer received the Congressional Gold Medal at a special ceremony at the U.S. Capitol on Sept. 12. The medal is the highest civilian award in the U.S., along with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which Palmer received in 2004.
